Der Grundgedanke: SightBikes veranstaltet Sightseeing by Bikes. Die Stadtgrösse eignet sich hervorragend dazu alle Sehenswürdigkeiten und schönen Plätze mit dem Fahrrad zu erkunden. Wir wollen eine Möglichkeit schaffen unsere Stadt auf eine sportive naturnahe Art zu erkunden. Für uns zählen nicht Dutzende von geschichtlichen Jahreszahlen und Namen. Wir setzen unseren Schwerpunkt auf das Erlebnis gemeinsam mit einer Kleingruppe die schönsten Plätze und versteckten Winkel dieser Stadt zu erFAHREN, ohne jedoch die klassischen Highlights auszulassen. Nach der Tour von SightBikes hat jeder Teilnehmer eine gute Übersicht über die Stadt gewonnen und kann individuell (oder mit den neuen Bekanntschaften der Tour) zu seinen persönlichen Highlights zurückkehren und in den erFAHRERNEN Restaurants oder Cafés eine Zeitlang verweilen.
The Idea: SightBikes means "Sightseeing by Bikes", a new way of discovering a city as a tourist. The size of the city is just perfect and enables us to show you by bike most of the famous sights and nice places of interest in approximately 3 hours by bike. We want to provide a unique opportunity to discover our nature-orientated town in a new and also physically active way. The historical side of Basel is very interesting, but we don't want to talk too much about important events and names of the past. While we will include the odd historical fact, in the main, we want to focus on the present. Together we will experience the beauties of Basel, be it the typical tourist attractions or some of the "insights" offered by our local guides. After returning to the starting point at the Transa store, you (the "biking sightseers") will have a good overview of Basel and are ready to discover more of our city on your own (or together with new acquaintances from the group) or simply go back to a personal highlight of the tour. While biking through Basel on our 3 hour tour you will discover many spots worth re-visiting to have a coffee, enjoy a good meal or just chill for a while.
